This workshop is tailored to professionals working in restoration, building maintenance, property inspection and environmental assessment who are looking to improve the accuracy of their water damage investigations.

From identifying moisture ingress and locating the source of a leak to assessing the conditions that can lead to mould growth, you’ll gain practical knowledge to support more confident inspections, better decision-making and effective remediation outcomes.

Key Learnings:

✔️ Identifying Moisture Ingress: Understand how water can move through building materials and why damage is often more extensive than what is visible on the surface.

✔️ Assessing Water Damage: Learn how to evaluate the extent of water damage and identify areas of concern during an investigation.

✔️ Leak Location: Explore key principles for determining where a leak may be occurring and how this can support effective remediation.

✔️ Mould Risk Assessment: Gain insight into the conditions that can contribute to mould development and how to reduce the risk of secondary issues.

✔️ Using Measurement Instruments: Understand how a range of tools can be used to inspect building materials and indoor environments.

✔️ Interpreting Measurement Data: Learn best practice approaches for reading, interpreting and applying measurement data with greater confidence.

Equip yourself with the knowledge and practical guidance to improve the accuracy, consistency and confidence of your water damage and mould risk assessments.
