Employer Essentials are designed to help plumbing and gas businesses operate within the national employment standards and to protect employers and employees.

This is a non-accredited online course that includes the following modules:

• Probation period 
• Employment contracts 
• National Wage increase 
• Record Keeping 

In this course, learners will gain an understanding of the meaning of  

• Probation periods and why they are important; 
• How probation periods relate to an employment contract and what to include in the employment contract; 
• What considerations should be included in determining the wage rate for an employee; and  
• Ensuring the relevant records are kept for each individual employee.

Course Recognition 

On successful completion of these courses, learners will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.

Course Fees

• CSQ Small Business funded: $25 (inc. GST)
• Non-funded: $440 (inc. GST)

NOTE: The invoicing for this course will be issued by our training partner, Pointsbuild. Following registration, a Pointsbuild representative will contact you to process a payment for the registration fee.
