Annual Wage Review 2018
The Fair Work Commission is currently reviewing submissions before handing down the 2018 annual wage review decision. MPAQ would like to remind members that each year the Award wage rates increase.

Annualised Salaries – Clerks Private Sector Award 2010
Where an annual salary is paid, the employer must advise the employee in writing, ideally through an employment contract, of what the total annual salary will be and detail which of the provisions of the Award are contained within the Annual salary.

JobKeeper Stimulus Payment: How to be Payroll and STP Ready
The government announced recently that eligible COVID-19 impacted businesses would be entitled to claim a JobKeeper Payment Subsidy of $1,500 per nominated employee per fortnight. Employers will be required to provide information to the ATO on eligible employees. In part, the ATO will be using Single Touch Payroll data to obtain this information.
