Award Wages to Increase by 3.5%
The Fair Work Commission has announced a 3.5% increase to minimum wages. The increase will apply from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2018.

Australia Day Public Holiday and Pay Rates

New Casual Conversion Provisions
On 1 October 2018 a new standard conversion clause was incorporated into 85 Awards, giving some casual workers the right to request full-time or part-time employment if they have worked certain, regular hours over a 12 month period.
