The Women's Plumbing Alliance Breakfast is in its third year running and provides an open forum for discussion between the Queensland Government and business owners, female trades people and the women working behind the scenes in the plumbing and gas industry.

Licensed Plumber and winner of the 2018 QBCC Women in Plumbing and Gas Award.

Rachael will be talking about why she got into plumbing and her journey, including how she started out, the challenges, why she started a business and the boys club. Rachael has invaluable advice for any woman in the plumbing and gas industry.


Radmila  Desic - Department of Employment, Small Business and Training

Part of the National Association Women in Construction (NAWIC) and the Women on Tools Committee

Rad will be providing an update on the history of NAWIC, talk anout ht eimportance of diversity within the workplace and provide an update on the training statistics and apprenticeship completion rates. Rad is a great addition to our guests speakers for this event!
